This composition recounts an epic tale in which my admiration for Sir Michael Docherty, an unprecedented ruler, prompts me to embark on an overseas journey to his kingdom in Scotland. Upon my arrival in visiting him, a kind-spirited fairy delivers us news that the capitol of Sir Michael’s governance, the domain of Empress Nanny Pauline, is in grave danger of attack by an evil faction known as the Boos. As battle between the empire and the Boos commences, Sir Michael demonstrates his heroic capacity for warriorship in defending his homeland and restoring it to the glory it had been destined for, giving way for the empire to prevail eternally in a heavenly state.

Mihkey mikey meeky middle,
Fihkey fikey feeky fiddle.
Through the wind and the storms,
Across the ocean to the shore,
I want to see you even more,
A king I’ve dreamt of long before,
Whom I shall visit at once-
Up into the marvelous sky,
Over the journey approaching nigh,
Headed to the realm of grand mist,
Where I expect an enchanted kiss.

Fairies await in the Kingdom of Poz,
Throughout forests of glamor.
Frolicking in the firelight,
In a glow of high spirit,
Lie a fairy of good tidings.

The fairy informs us
That a war has commenced-
In the depths of the mellow,
Lurking in the shadows,
Gather the Boos in ominous dwelling.
Through sieges and fury,
In a triumph of joy,
Upon victory evermore,
Poz’s realm reigns henceforth.

The protectorate of the land,
The conqueror of valor.
Mikey, the one and whole,
The greatest tale ever told,
Everlasting joy to behold.

Mikey, my love.
